HypnoBirthing classes help a mother, her partner and the baby prepare for a more gentle childbirth experience. This class series is taught by Corrinna Edwards, HypnoBirthing Practitioner, experienced doula of 8 years, mother of three children 14yrs, 7yrs and 5yrs and Oh Baby! Fitness & Yoga Instructor.
The birth companion is not just an onlooker, but fully involved in the process after being thoroughly prepared and trained. Both the mother and her partner are confident and conditioned to relax more easily with the tools provided in the series.
“Every push was the right kind of push, every contraction I breathed downward… every possible fear I had I kept outside that delivery room. I had great support and was so thankful for everyone in that room. My husband was a rockstar and I didn’t yell at him or anyone for that matter. No cursing, no anger, no yelling just a lot of animal grunting noises. I am so happy and blessed to have had an amazing birth experience. “ Staci Thursby, Alpharetta Hypnbirthing Mother
Hypnobirthing classes are classes with a higher standard for birth preparation and companion training/involvement. Nurses , midwives and obstetricians often comment on the hypnobirthing parents being so calm and relaxed even during the most difficult times in labor and birth. Mothers who are 8 or 9cm (nearly complete) never cease to surprise the people involved in their birth, “wow, I would have never known you were so far along, you are so relaxed” said a N nurse at North Fulton Hospital during a mother’s transition. This is what is said at almost 100% of the hypnobirths without special circumstances.
Our goal is to help parents fully experience the joy and power of birth by increasing their confidence in the normal process of birth.
Classes & Counseling for Breastfeeding Families provide the essentials for breastfeeding families whether you are planning to stay home or go back to work.
Prepare ahead instead of taking classes after you give birth. Most mother’s establish breastfeeding success immediately after birth when they are educated and prepared.
